THE world has been on a knife-edge waiting for North Korea to reveal its big event amid concerns of nuclear missile tests.
But it turns out the “big and important event” that sent scores of foreign journalists flocking to Pyongyang has nothing to do with missiles – it’s only the opening of a new street.
“Our revolutionary strong army is keenly watching every move by enemy elements with our nuclear sight focused on the US invasionary bases not only in South Korea and the Pacific operation theatre but also in the US mainland,” North Korea’s official Rodong Sinmun newspaper said.
